Educational Program

The syllabus and curriculum of Pre-Primary and Primary classes is based on activity and play way method. The Evaluation Scheme is continuous and comprehensive as it focuses on the daily, consistent progress of the child. This is based on the daily interaction in class, levels of general awareness, quality of work and comprehension of concepts taught. The approach attaches equal importance to co-curricular activities along with academics.
Classes I – V
Grades are allotted in the Report Cards based on a 5-point scale.
Internal Assessment is based on the class assignments / projects / activities and other criteria as per the subject.
The non-academic activities include music, arts, computers, literary and cultural activities, sports etc. grades are awarded based on innovation, public facing, behavior and other skills.

Student’s Progress Report of students of Classes Nur to V is sent after each term. It is also to be signed by the parents/guardians.

- Classes VI – X
As per remodeled assessment policy by CBSE.
The academic session is divided into two terms:
I Term : April to September
II Term: October to March
Each child is assessed in both scholastic and co-scholastic areas. Assessment of co-scholastic areas is reported in each term. The students are assessed on various parameters for life skills, work education, visual and performing arts, and attitudes and values towards teachers, schoolmates, school programmes and environment.
The students are also assessed for literary and creative skills, scientific skills, information and communication technology and organizational and leadership skills. In addition, the students also participate in various health and physical activities and are assessed by the teachers accordingly.
Classes XI – XII
As per CBSE guidelines.
In each term the students of class XI are assessed on the basis of Unit Test for each subject followed by Terminal Examinations.
Class XII
Students of class XII appear for Board Examinations conducted by CBSE in the month of March. However, they are also continuously assessed throughout the year through Unit Tests, Class Tests and Terminal Examination in addition to the Pre-Board Examination conducted by the school during the academic session.
Guidance & Counseling
The school counselor deals with the problems related to studies, behavior and emotional issues of the children. The children are referred by the teachers and in-charges. Parents are also allowed to meet the counselor regarding problems related to their children. Students take guidance from the counselor on time management, stress management, career counseling etc.
Staff Development Program
Attending workshops is an integral part of teaching profession. They help in updating teachers’ knowledge, grooming their personalities and honing their skills. The school ensures that each member of the teaching fraternity attends at 6-7 workshops during an academic session so that they stand amongst the best in the field.
E-learning
- The classrooms have been equipped with a projector, computer and a white screen.
- A special Test Center has been set up in the computer lab where teachers can prepare their own tests and conduct them online.
- The Audio-Visual room has been equipped with a projector and an efficient sound system.
- The internet facility has opened avenues for an unlimited scope for learning. School provides fast Broadband internet connection round the clock and offline UPS for system back up along with a good collection of educational software. In a world of inter connectivity computers play a significant role. Every student is provided with a computer to explore the world of technology.
